Sandra Sue Piatt age 73 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born August 2, 1943 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Bud and Reva Moore.
On March 31, 1962 she married Gary E. Piatt. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1993.
Sandra was employed at Tri Rivers as a secretary for the nursing program for 33 years and worked at the Marion Public Library.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Rod) Wilson of Marion, her two sons, Daniel Piatt of Marion and Andy (Susan) Piatt of Rome, NY., one grandchild, Abby Piatt, two great grandchildren, Alice French, Jesse Ross and her faithful companion, Chin her dog.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4 – 6 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Meeker Cemetery.
