Margaret L. Chambers, age 89 of Marion, passed away on Thursday January 4, 2018.
Margaret born on January 14, 1928, married her High School sweetheart, Harold Chambers on November 29, 1946 when they eloped to Greenup, KY after their graduation from Harding HS earlier that year. They remained happily married until his death in 1996.
Margaret loved helping others. She was a member of the Dayspring Wesleyan Church, and retired from Marca Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Boyd and Doris Brown; and all of her siblings.
Margaret will be missed by her son: Matthew (Marla) Chambers of Beavercreek; her daughters: Jean Anna (Douglas) Pennington and Brittany R. Clark of Marion; and her six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends and family may come to honor Margaret’s life on Monday January 8, 2018 starting at 4pm to 6pm at the Dayspring Wesleyan Church. A funeral service will be held after calling hours and start at 6:30pm with Dr. Steve Estep officiating. Burial will be at the Salem Cemetery.
