Donald T. Spitzer age 72 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born August 17, 1946 in Marion, Ohio to the late Carl R. and Virginia M. (Arthur) Spitzer.
On September 4, 1976 he married Dianna S. (Paterson) Spitzer, she preceded him in on March 28, 2013.
Donald retired from Quaker Oats after 30 years of service, after his retirement he was self employed at Vision Design & Graphics.
He is survived by his children, Dena R. Leach of Marion, Donald Thomas (Jennifer) Spitzer Jr. of Marion, Chad-Edward Newton Leach of Flower Mound, TX., Donald Shane Spitzer of Marion, five grandchildren, Andrew T. Spitzer, Samantha S. (Jason) Baker, Marley N. Leach, Griffin E. Leach, Rebecca K. Spitzer, two great grandchildren, Noah Spitzer, Audrianna Spitzer, his brother, Carl R. “Bob” (Sherri L.) Spitzer Jr. of Marion, his sisters, Abbie G. (Gene) Woy of Pueblo, CO., Virginia Carol (Paul) Howard of Delaware, OH.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his sister, Charlotte “Ann” Hoffman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 6 – 8 PM at Marion Bible Fellowship, 590 Forest Lawn Dr. Marion, Ohio. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 24, 2018 @ 10:30 AM at Marion Bible Fellowship with Chaplain Pamela Lamb-Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
