Bryan “Kelly” Butler of Marion OH passed away at home suddenly at age 56 on September 30, 2018. Bryan was born in Marion on February 25, 1962, to Donald E. Butler and the late Carolyn S. (Bussey) Butler. He was known to his friends and family as Kelly, and as one who had a positive outlook on life.
He served the United States with four years in the Air Force. As a huge fan of NASCAR and NHRA racing, Kelly enjoyed going to several races throughout the country. He was also a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes Football, especially enjoying the OSU-Michigan rivalry. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #889, and VFW #720. He worked 15 plus years at Honda Motor Company as an Injection Mold Maintenance Man.
He will be sorely missed by his father and step-mom, Donald E. and Diane Walker Butler, his daughters Kelli Lynn Sorrell and Makenzi Joy Butler, his ex-wife Robin (Moore) Butler, his sister Michelle Burkhard, his half-brother Tracy Allen Butler, his grandchildren Kain Derrick Sorrell and Avery Robert Napper, and several friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the American Diabetes Association.
