Charles Louis Fish Jr., age 86, of Marion passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 8:00 AM in his residence. He was born on March 19, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles L. and Helen J. (Young) Fish Sr.
He served in the U.S.Air Force during the Korean War. Charles was employed as a corrections officer at the Marion Correctional Institution.
After retirement he made his home in Ft. Pierce, Florida and just recently returned to Marion.
His wife; Evelyn J. (Clay) Fish preceded him in death in 1975 and his son; Charles L. Fish III and sister; Joan Keen are also deceased. Surviving are three brothers; David A. (Linda) Fish of Delaware, OH., William J. (Rebecca) Fish of Delaware, OH., & Jerry A. Fish of Marion, OH., and one sister; Sylvia L. (Richard) Fosnaugh of Marion, OH.
A graveside service will be held in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of Charles’ life will be held following the service at his sister’s home, 531 Siesta Dr., Marion. Military rites will be provided by the Marion Co. Veterans Council.
