Cavaliers Crush Bobcats 122-95

Cleveland CavaliersByron Scott was curious about how his team would come out against Charlotte on Wednesday after the Cavaliers’ big home win over Oklahoma City on Saturday.

Curiosity killed the Bobcats.

Looking as focused as they have all season against a team with a losing record, the Cavs clobbered the Bobcats, 122-95, for their biggest win of the season and the biggest under Scott.

“I believe so, too,” Scott said with a smile. “It felt good. I think it was the first time all season. The only other time I rested was against Detroit and we were losing. I’m glad to be on the other side.”

Cleveland, which also posted season highs in points and shooting percentage (56.5), has won six of its last nine and five of six at home to improve to 15-34. It was the most points the franchise had scored since Feb. 11, 2011, a 126-119 home victory over the Clippers to end a league-record 26-game losing streak.

It also was the biggest margin of victory since May 7, 2010, when the Cavs beat the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, 124-95.
