The Central Ohio Knockouts, the “sister” team of the Marion Merchants baseball team, will be holding tryouts for the 2014 season, the second year for the traveling softball organization.
The Knockouts’ season consists of a couple practices a week in the Marion area with weekend scrimmages in the spring. The summer tournament schedule includes 6-8 weekend tournaments throughout Ohio, but mainly held in the Columbus area.
They are hoping to field teams in the following age groups: 9/10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u, 15u, 16u, and 17/18u.
Open tryouts will be held on the following days and times:
- Marion: Wednesday Aug. 7th 6:00- 8:00 pm at RVBFY, 2250 Harding Hwy East, Marion, Oh 43302
Ages 9 -18, registration starts at 5:30 pm on the front quad of fields. Rain date Thursday, Aug. 8th - Prospect: Saturday, Aug. 17th at 501 Park Street in Prospect, Ohio 43342. Register 30 min before tryout.
