The 2014 Marion Popcorn Festival softball tournament for 58 and over was played during Festival weekend. The four teams competing were from Grove City and Maumee along with two local teams — G & R Tavern and Village Edge Farms.
Games were played at Garfield Park during a 6-game round robin format. The final game included Grove City defeating Village Edge Farms 23-10 to claim the championship.
The Popcorn Festival issued a special thank you to Steve Romshe, Roger Smith, and Karen and Mike Winders for their help during the tournament.
