A barn on the Marion County Fairgrounds is growing and, for the first time in years, will house all of the rabbit and poultry entries for this year’s fair. The Senior Fair Board, who is leading the project, says construction started last week and volunteers are continuing to raise funds.

The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board and the Capitol Square Foundation recently announced the 2012 Great Ohioans. The 2012 honorees were presented by the Capitol Square Foundation and unanimously approved by the full membership of the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board earlier today. The six honorees were selected from nominations submitted by individuals and organizations throughout Ohio.
