City of Marion to Fog Mosquitoes on Thursday

The City of Marion will be fogging mosquitoes on Thursday, June 7, from 4:00am to 7:00am. The areas that will be sprayed include: north central Marion, Fairpark, south Marion, and the city parks.

Public Meeting Set to Discuss Marion Skate Park

The Marion Parks Department will hold a public meeting to discuss ideas for the design and features for the new skate park to be constructed at Lincoln Park. The meeting will be held at the Recreation Center, 240 West Church Street, on Wednesday, March 28, at 4:30pm.

Park Playground Closing for Maintenance

Project Playground, located in McKinley Park, will be closed this weekend, August 28 and 29. The playground will receive a new coat of stain by the First Church of The Nazarene during their Restoration Weekend.

Rec Department Holding School Supply Giveaway

The City of Marion Recreation Department is having a school supply giveaway on Friday, August 13, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm or until gone. The giveaway will take place at the Recreation Center in downtown Marion, 240 West Church  Street.

City Fogging for Mosquitoes

The City of Marion will be fogging mosquitoes on Thursday or Friday, August 12th or 13th, from 4:00 am until 7:00 am, if weather conditions permit.

The areas that will be sprayed include: west Marion, southeast Marion, the Fairpark area, and the City Parks.
