The Marion Police Department says a local drive-thru was robbed at gunpoint late in the evening on Tuesday, April 23. Officers responded to General Sales Drive Thru, 450 Jefferson Street, at 10:13pm and say the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from the clerk.

Court Strikes Down Lifetime Registration for Juvenile Sex Offenders
The Ohio Supreme Court on Tuesday struck down a lifetime requirement that certain juvenile sex offenders register online and elsewhere, saying it was cruel and unusual punishment.
Justice Paul E. Pfeifer wrote the majority opinion for the court and cited a growing national consensus in other states against imposing automatic lifetime registration requirements against juvenile sex offenders.
