Ohio American Water will conduct water main flushing in the Marion County service area from Monday, April 26, through Friday, April 30 from 8:00am to 12:30am each day.

According to Marion Operations Supervisor Don Scott, water main and fire hydrant flushing is an important part of a regular maintenance program for water distribution systems.  He says Ohio American Water consistently meets or exceeds all drinking water standards.

Ohio American Water will conduct water main flushing in the Marion County service area through Friday, April 23 from 8 a.m. until 12:30 a.m.

The company conducts the annual maintenance program to assure high-quality water service and to ensure fire hydrants are operational.
