Marion County Democratic Party Elects Officers
The Marion County Democratic Party held their re-organizational meeting after the primary elections and elected officers to a two year term.
Mike Thomas was elected Chairman of the Marion County Democratic Party. Mike Thomas has been a City of Marion council member since 1995. His vision for the party includes increasing democratic participation through voter registration and increasing voter turnout for elections.
Democratic Caucus to Be Held at Tri-Rivers
A Democratic caucus will be held April 12 at 6:30pm at Tri-Rivers Career Center, 2222 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road in Marion. The Marion Democratic Caucus has been apportioned four district-level delegates for the old 4th Congressional district.
