The Salvation Army, 317 West Church Street in Marion, is having another free produce market on Friday, July the 6th from 11:00am until 1:00pm. You must be able to sign an income eligibility form. Remember to bring bags or boxes.

Local Students Learn, Earn Philanthropy 101

Ohio State Marion students awarded nearly $5000 in grants to area charitable organizations through fundraising efforts in 2012, while gaining knowledge on the framework of “Paying it Forward.” Thanks to increase support, the program expects to donate even more funds next year.

During the recent Bike-A-Thon at The Salvation Army in Marion, Rocky’s Cyclery raffled off a scooter. The winner was Dominic Johnson.
